A workshop on performance and the poetry of Stevie Smith.

The workshop will look at the nature and significance of Stevie Smith’s work as texts for performance, and introduce a range of performative methods for exploring, re-interpreting and responding to Smith’s work.

Run by Tess Denman-Cleaver and open to students, artists and academic professionals from any discipline.

Laura Cull and Tess Denman-Cleaver will present a performance installation and series of walks around Vienna at dawn, midday and dusk for the Philosophy on Stage #4 Festival. The works consider the relationship between walking and thinking, landscape and health, horizons and aphorisms in Nietzsche’s life, work and influence.
